Extended Stay: Astronauts Williams and Wilmore embarked on a mission to the ISS in June 2024 aboard Boeing’s Starliner spacecraft. Originally intended as a short-duration mission, their stay was prolonged to over nine months because of technical problems with the Starliner, necessitating an alternative return plan.
